Imagine an ambient band combined with a DJ? An entirely unique project, a live jamming session held together by DJ MC Paul Metcalfe alongside some the UK's finest musicians. Cirque Du Funk was created in 2004 to offer a different kind of night, with old and new school house / funk/ disco with DJ's palying alongside top musicians.
Resident DJ paul Metcalfe has his own unique style of DJ-ing which keeps Cirque Du Funk varied & original.. The live element sets the crowd alight.
The thumping sound of resident bass player, Darren Campbell (Hot Chocolate, Tony Christie) provided exhilerating bass vibes, the magical vocals of Pete Simpson (Joey Negro - Sunburst Band, Jocelyn Brown) wows the crowd in his unique style.
Alongside resident percussionist Bongo Bert (Reverend & the Makers) & various "guest" musicians, this show is absolutely unforgettable.
