Johnie White

Born in 1972 whilst Nilsson was at no1 with 'Without You' Johnie has been playing since about 9 years old & won the local Junior Guitar Cup (out of all the local schools) around 13 years old, when everything was still in black and white and mono!

He played rock music in the wmc's throughout West/South Yorks in his 20's & formed The Speakeasy Blues Band in 1996. Signed a record deal with Blues Matters and gigged the blues clubs and festivals around the country. His first album (original music) can be heard through all the usual streaming services (Spotify, iTunes etc).

John's biggest claim to fame (currently) is being played on Macedonia FM and being invited to tour there. As well as the blues, he always played Rock and Pop in function bands and (proper) RnB/Soul in corporate/show bands & has also hosted over 100 jam sessions.

Johnie always gives his all when gigging and has often been commended by audiences for doing so. (Was even invited to try to teach Stage Showmanship at a workshop at Factory Street Rockschool (Bradford)).

Favourite Quote: "If you want your [music] in your face and a showman that likes to entertain, you can not go far wrong with [Johnie White].... makes for a foot stomping night of quality music... " Magnesia Bank Account (North East gig guide).
